What are the procedures for buying real estate in Dubai for foreign investors?

Buying real estate in Dubai is open to all foreign investors in the so-called areas Freehold (freehold properties).

The process is simple:

  1. Choose the property with the help of a COBEN approved agent.
  2. Sign a reservation contract (MOU) and pay a deposit (usually 10%).
  3. Perform legal checks and obtain the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the promoter.
  4. Finalize the transaction in front of the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
